SAHRR Prompt #3 Animals

It's Wednesday, and time for another adventure. This week our prompt is from Emily, and she has suggested the animal kingdom as the inspiration for this round. It was fun visiting all the coordinators and seeing how they viewed the challenge. It didn't take long for me to choose a simple applique to add to my project. I haven't been playing with this technique for a while and thought it would be fun to sharpen the few skills I have in that area.At this point my blocks are 6 inch finished, and i've had this little pattern for many years.I wanted something simple without a lot of detail to work well with my Thimbleberries fabric, and my skill level.

This past weekend I played ith my freemotion quilting as well as applying another binding by machine. This is my best effort to date. I've also unearhted an older UFO and will hopefully get the top finished in the next week.  Winter is a great time to stay at home and sew.

I hope you will visit all of the blogs this week as well as the linky party site to see what others are creating

Emily will host the linky spot this week. See you next week. Take care of yourself, and share your kindness whenever you can

Hugs Lynn
