Parade Day for the 2026 SAHRR

Tomorrow over on Kathleen McMusing  blog we will all post our projects created during the 2026 SAHRR. I hope everyone enjoyed the journey as much as I have. Often in life we like to know the exact path we will follow. It's safe and comfortable. But this adventure lets us go outside of that comfort zone, and express more of the adventurous side of each of us. This is my third adventure with the group. I decided to go smaller this year, not as small as some, but definitely smaller than my last year project.

However it is slightly larger than year one for me.
Seven or eight years ago I purchased a quilting book published by Landauer Publishing. This quilt book, written by Janet Houts and Jean Ann Wright, is titled, Circle of Nines. These sisters have a long history with sewing and the world of needle and thread. I liked the simple concept they presented, and decided far into this adventure that I would try the Circle of Nines design approach. It is easy, lots of room for individual expression, and the possibilities for changing the size of your quilt are broad. My quilt is small, about 27" x 27". And I added a simple label, something, in my usual haste, doesn't always get done.

I may add something to the label, as soon as I decide what that something is to be. I'm looking forward to visiting all of the creators as we finish up this adventure.  You will find the final linky party with the parade results here at  Kathleen McMusing . Just click on the blue text and your journey will begin My wish for you is to let your heart be filled with love and your hands busy with helping.
Hugs
Lynn
