SAHRR First Prompt Done

 Wow but that week by quickly! Oh wait, it's not over yet. I got so excited to start this adventure, that I am finished the prompt and it's only Friday. I took advantage of the block ideas from Kathleen, and made four  four and one half inch blocks to fill in the corners of my first border and round. I'm using scraps from my Thimbleberries fabrics. I still have lots of those.With other quilting friends, I really enjoyed our Thimbleberries Club and the quilts we made. That was another era really.

I'm not sure where this project will lead me, but at this point, I'm quite happy with it. I'm hoping to bring some curve back into the piece later. We'll see. Here is my project after prompt #1. It measures around 32" x 32".
